During the second World War in 1942 and 1946 football world cup not held. After the second world cup again in 1950 world cup arranged by Brazil and they make most precious stadium named Maracana for successful tournament arrange. In this tournament total 16 team were participate where Brazil participate as Host country and Italy as a defending champion and these two teams selected by automatically. From Asia India was qualified but withdrew their name from that tournament.

He was born at Brazil in 8th November 1922 and Died 1996.He started his football carrier with Sports recife and after two years he go to Vasco da Gama club on 1942.In the world cup 1950 he was the top scorer and he made 9 goals for Brazil.
